P&L presented, as per report.
Club Captains Report:
Evan Beeby (Patrol Captain) has transferred to Scotts Head.
Paid patrols have commenced.
Bronze medallion class has commenced.
Water safety requirements have increased to 1 in 4.
Nippers have comme3nced and numbers are up on last year.
Burleigh Heads Juniors to bring 20 to 30 teens down for training camp and will sleep in the club house.
There have been problems with radio, the handhelds have been serviced. Gary to ask Wally if he knows a service agent to service the base radio.
Some patrolling members are not turning up for patrols and are not organising replacements. Email to be sent to all patrolling members reminding them off their responsibilities.
Training for juniors and seniors takes place on Saturday form 2.00pm to 4.00pm, Tuesday from 4.30pm to 6.30pm at the beach and Thursday 4.30pm to 6.30pm at Anchors.
General Business:
Geoff Bracken to purchase microwave for the tower.
Loz and Gaz to investigate safe storage solution for fuel. Material safety data sheets to be displayed.
Chris Shields donated 20litres of outboard oil.
Vanessa moved that registration for nipper parents (associates) be reduced from $75.00. Seconded by Gary Howe.
1 surf boat has been moved to Jim Kerr’s place on North Bank road.
We currently have 6 surf boats, 4 to be either sold or donated.
Loz and Brad to approach Corey Robertson about holding the 25 year club house anniversary at the Ocean View Hotel on 25th February 2012.
Brad to confirm insurance arrangements.
